ROC City Skatepark

ROC City Skatepark is a public skatepark in downtown Rochester. It is under the Frederick Douglass-Susan B. Anthony Bridge, beside the Genesee Riverway Trail, at South Avenue and Woodbury. It opened on November 5, 2020. Skateboarders, rollerbladers and BMX riders use it. It has mini-ramps and ledges, stairs and handrails, competition bowls and a main skate promenade. There is also open space for public art and performances. The park is one of the ROC the Riverway projects along the Genesee River. In 2023 the City got a $3 million state grant for Phase 2, which adds more than 20,000 square feet of skate area and event space. Work on Phase 2 started with a groundbreaking in October 2025.
