Ralph Avery Mall

Ralph Avery Mall is a small city green space in the Corn Hill neighborhood. It runs from South Plymouth Avenue to Adams Street, near Frederick Douglass Street. The city’s map layer calls it Ralph Avery Park. It covers about 0.3 acres. The land was once a section of Plymouth Avenue. During urban renewal in the 1960s the street was removed and the area was landscaped. It is named for Ralph Avery, a Rochester artist who painted many watercolors of Rochester and Corn Hill scenes. The city lists benches there.
