Adams Basin Schoolhouse

The Adams Basin Schoolhouse is a half-acre Town of Ogden lot at 416 Washington Street, in the center of the Hamlet of Adams Basin. The Town counts it as a small pocket park. Outside there is a public playground with a seating area and a paved area with a basketball hoop. The old schoolhouse held preschool and childcare until 2022. Now the Town of Ogden Historian’s office is inside, open Tuesdays and Fridays from 9am to 4pm. The Town lists the schoolhouse as program space for the Ogden Parks and Recreation Department. The 2024 Parks Master Plan suggests historical markers, a larger playground and new sports such as pickleball or bocce on the paved area. For the recreation office, call 585-617-6174.
