John Unger Nature Trail is a short Town of Webster trail off the Hojack Trail. Wood stairs lead down to it, between Drumm Road and Van Alstyne Road. It runs 0.35 miles, for walking and hiking. The parcel it sits on is the Gore Tract. Monroe County’s own records list it as wholly tax-exempt Town of Webster land. That is different from the Hojack Trail itself, whose land Rochester Gas and Electric owns.
This map point is on the Hojack Trail between Drumm Road and Van Alstyne Road, where the stairs to the trail begin. It is not the whole 0.35-mile route.
