Hickory Bark Woods is a short boardwalk trail in a 10-acre stand of woods on Van Ingen Drive. It sits across the parking lot from the Webster Public Library. The boardwalk is ADA accessible. It runs about 400 feet and ends at a deck with benches. The woods are named for their shagbark hickory trees, alongside beech and maple. Monroe County’s own records show the land as wholly tax-exempt Town of Webster property, next to but separate from the Town’s Ridge Park facility.
