Herman Road Forever Wild Forest

What we know 0 of 3

Nobody has walked Herman Road Forever Wild Forest and written it up, and there is no list of what is there. What this page can tell you honestly is where it is and who looks after it. The rest is waiting on a visit.

Herman Road Forever Wild Forest is a 28-acre forest at 760 Hermann Road. The Town of Webster made it a park in September 2023. Gary and Judy Wood, the former owners, helped save the land. A New York State DEC grant paid part of the cost. A donation honoring the late Michael A. Johnson paid the rest. Trails wind through mature forest, and you may see deer, fox, fisher, coyote, or turkey. Parking is limited, so many visitors walk in from the pink trail in the neighboring Whiting Road Nature Preserve. Hunting and motorized vehicles are not allowed.
