Pittsford Town Dog Park
The Pittsford Town Dog Park is a 2-acre park at 34 East Street, next to the Habecker Little League fields. It is open 7:00am to dusk every day, all year. There is a fenced play area for all dogs and separate fenced areas for small dogs under 40 pounds. It has dog play structures, dog water fountains, a dog wash station and a waste disposal area. For people there are benches, picnic tables and water fountains. The park is on the town trail system, with access to the Cartersville and Simon Stone’s Mill trails. The park is part of the Monroe County Dog Park System, so dogs must be registered with the County. A dog must first be licensed in its home town; Pittsford residents get a license at the Town Clerk’s office. The Town Clerk cannot register dogs for the park. Registration is at the County Parks Department, 171 Reservoir Avenue, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm.
