King’s Bend Park
What we know 0 of 3
Nobody has walked King’s Bend Park and written it up, and there is no list of what is there. What this page can tell you honestly is where it is and who looks after it. The rest is waiting on a visit.
King’s Bend Park is a 19-acre park at 170 West Jefferson Road in Pittsford. It has a playground and fishing ponds. You can rent either of its two heated lodges, which hold 99 people and 50 people. The park is named for a large bend the first Erie Canal made nearby. The bend was close to Lock 32, where Clover Street meets West Jefferson Road. An 1840 watercolor by George Harvey shows a boat rounding that bend. The Pittsford Town Historian’s office keeps the painting.
