Indian Hill
Indian Hill is 35 acres of mostly wooded open space off Pittsford-Palmyra Road (Route 31) in the southeast part of Perinton. It opened in 1988. The town plan calls it the Indian Hill Conservation Area. It is known for its trails, and it has woods and open fields. The trails are part of the Crescent Trail, and you can walk on to other sections for a longer hike. Horses use the trails as well. There is one parking lot. Trails connect Indian Hill to Thayer Hill and to the DeWitt property, and some of them cross private land where the town owns the development rights. Stay on the trail. Bikes are not allowed on the trails. Keep dogs on a leash and pick up after them.
